New Intern Joins CSG
We are pleased to welcome our new intern, Gianna Annunzio, to the Communication Strategies Group team. Gianna is a recent graduate from Illinois State University, and is enthusiastic about exploring careers within her Chicagoland hometown. After earning a bachelors degree in English with a minor in Mass Media, she is eager to begin extending her knowledge of the vast communications world by strengthening her abilities at Communication Strategies Group. With writing as her ultimate passion, she hopes to exercise her composition skills to their fullest potential, while also learning how to most effectively promote a brand and gain skills within programs like Google Analytics. Before starting at CSG, Gianna worked at the Vidette Newspaper as a features writer, and is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society. She also writes creatively in her free time, continuously hoping to add additional pieces to her current list of published works. In addition to writing, she loves listening to music spanning across all genres (the Beatles are her favorite). You’ll likely find her writing in a journal, listening to a new album or reading a classic novel.

We are pleased to welcome our new intern, Elizabeth Hayden, to the Communication Strategies Group team. As a recent graduate from Duquesne University in Pennsylvania, Elizabeth decided to start her marketing career here in Chicago. She is looking forward to enhancing her writing skills, mastering Google Analytics, and learning how to manage client relationships.
Before moving to Chicago she has worked as the Marketing Manager for The Claddagh Irish Pub and as an intern at Pipitone Group, an integrated marketing firm in Pittsburgh. She also loves being involved in community and philanthropic work. During her years at Duquesne she was very much involved in their College’s Against Cancer chapter, eventually becoming President throughout her junior and senior year. Communication Strategies Group Marks 10 Years
Award-Winning Communication Firm Celebrates a Decade of Connecting, Motivating and Changing
2013 marked the 10th anniversary of CSG. We celebrated in style and hosted a cocktail party at the Wit Hotel to thank our clients and friends who have supported us along the way.
This year from educating teachers about NanoSpace, a new website for kids, to positioning high-level executives as experts on CNBC-TV and managing an association’s reputation during a crisis, CSG has successfully partnered with a variety of organizations to reach their goals.
Over the past 10 years the team at CSG has evolved to meet the needs of clients in the rapidly changing technology driven environment.
Industry-related organizations including IABC and PRSA have recognized the work of CSG. Creative integrated marketing campaigns, such as “Reality Check,” created for Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana (GSGCNWI), have garnered national attention. Moose International’s “Heard of Moose?” campaign increased regional membership by 46 percent.
CSG Spreads the Word, 100 years for Mooseheart
Established in 1913, Mooseheart has raised and educated about 12,000 children in need. Recently, Mooseheart turned 100 years old, a testament to near-astonishing resilience. CSG aims to spread the word of the noteworthy foundation to ensure the organization endures and can continue to stabilize and rebuild children of shared vulnerabilities.
