A bit about me
After graduating from Marquette University and working in the marketing department of a hospital, I landed a job in the big city of Chicago. After 12 years working my way up to director at a public relations firm, I left to start my own and never turned back. I gain satisfaction working with a talented team at CSG developing strategic communications programs that help clients achieve their goals.
What I’m passionate about at work
Driving change. I believe that communications can lead to changed behavior.
A favorite memory at CSG
I’ve had many but landing Moose International on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was on the top of the list. We had fun prepping the Moose members for their grand appearance and makeovers on the popular program, which included posing in scant attire for their debut in a fundraising calendar.
My favorite things to do outside of work
I enjoy spending time with my daughter and Otto, our cockapoo. I adopted my daughter from Nepal so stay active in advocating for adoption through the Nepal Adoptive Families Association. I’ve spoken on international adoption and have appeared on NPR and The Talk. I love bike riding and sailing on Lake Michigan during our short summers and hope my daughter will join me in the near future!
A quote that inspires me
"There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness." – Dalai Lama
